Kristal (Blue) McManigal (Director of Radio & Promotions)
While most teens worked at the mall, Kristal went on-air at a local radio station. Her beginnings in radio further expanded into a degree in multimedia - when it truly meant multiple forms of media and not just software. She then branched out into regional and national advertising over the next decade as art director, project management and event producer. Kristal’s passion for music, blues in particular, has always been equally important to her work experience. She has combined both together to help promote musicians and festivals throughout the South including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. And now she brings both to the Delta Groove family of artists.

Brad Kava (Creative Services - Staff
Writer)
Before landing his dream job as a music critic, Brad Kava was a hard news reporter, specializing in disasters and police stories. He was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for covering the Loma Prieta earthquake. He also covered the Oklahoma City bombing and led a dangerous investigation that got a Florida sheriff indicted for running a ring of prostitutes and using them to blackmail political candidates. After enough mayhem for a lifetime, he landed the job every rock fan lusts for: covering musicians and the music business for the San Jose Mercury News, and seeing more than 250 concerts a year. He scored interviews with Eddie Vedder, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Wyclef Jean and U2's The Edge, that were translated and published around the world. He's written liner notes for Native American singer/songwriter and Grammy award winner Bill Miller, Santana singer Tony Lindsay and future star, Jason Ricci. He's also dabbled in music, playing harmonica in concerts with Mexican rockers, El Tri, Greg Kihn, Tony Lindsay, Kenny Neal, Bill Miller, the Cowlicks and his own band, Doghouse Riley.
